Burnett to arrive in the American Colonies in 1638 as a Merchant
of King Charles I.
JOHN BURNET (1) was christened 25 Dec 1610 in St. Nicholas Church
in Aberdeen, Scotland (Home of Burnet of Leys) and died 1686 in
Old Rappahannock Co, VA. John married Lucretia Johnston, also of
Aberdeen. They settled in Old Rappahannock County, Virginia, later
changed to Essex County where the family lived for 100 years. In
1996, the parents and grandparents of JOHN BURNETT (I) was located
in Aberdeen, Scotland). Seven Generations. Full name Index - 791
